Plainscraft is seeking a Production Worker / Woodworking to join our dedicated team of craftsmen who hand-build custom covered wagons shipped throughout the United States and Canada. This position plays a key role in maintaining the high level of quality and craftsmanship that PlainsCraft is known for.
Position Overview
The Production Worker / Woodworking will work with hand tools, battery-operated sanders, and a variety of brushes on a daily basis. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and pride in producing high-quality finishes. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hands-on production environment and committed to upholding our craftsmanship standards.

Responsibilities:
- Build the company’s product hands on
- Proficient with all woodshop tools and equipment (Table saw, Miter Saw, Sanders, Routers, & Hand Tools)
- May perform basic maintenance and adjustments to shop equipment
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical tasks per instructions
- Knowledge of staining/ painting
- Follow shop fabrication drawings and procedures
- Clean and maintain area
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Occasional travel possible (Limited)
Physical Demands:
- Able to stand for 8 hours a day
- Able to walk, bend, twist and reach
- Able to lift 40 pounds regularly
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled facility
- Able to work without the influence of illicit drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicating substances
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates will maintain a practical, common-sense approach to completing all work while maintaining commitment to quality, service, timing, and safety
- Detail oriented, effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Reliable, Responsible, and be able to work Independently
- Must have effective oral communication skills
- A positive attitude is necessary
- High level of Integrity and accountability
- Proficient with the following tools: sanders, staining brushes, some hand tools
- All new hires must provide identification to verify eligibility to work in the U.S
Experience:
- 2 years of woodworking/ carpentry or general remodeling preferred
- 2 years experience in production or a similar occupation
- 1 year electrical experience
- 1 year plumbing experience
License/Certification:
- Driver’s License (Required)

Job Type: Full-time — 40 Hrs (Some overtime may be required)
Schedule: Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day (Occasional overtime)
Pay: Starting wage $17 – $21 an hour
