Furniture Built
for the Footprint

The guest experience inside a covered wagon lives and dies on the furnishings. A premium mattress on a flimsy frame, a buffet table that doesn’t fit the footprint, or mismatched pieces that feel like an afterthought all undercut the investment you’ve made in the structure itself. PlainsCraft furniture is built to prevent exactly that.

Every piece in the PlainsCraft furniture line is custom-made by craftsmen we have vetted and trusted, designed specifically for the dimensions and aesthetic of our wagons. Optional interior design services are available through Donna Steinman, a long-time interior designer and owner of M. Street Interiors, who handles all PlainsCraft furniture selections personally.

Built from Reclaimed Kansas Wood

Where possible, PlainsCraft furniture is built using reclaimed Kansas wood. Beyond the visual character that reclaimed material brings to a space, it connects the furniture to the region where PlainsCraft was founded and to the broader ethos of sustainable, low-impact glamping. Guests notice materials that have a story, and reclaimed wood delivers that without asking for it.
