Your site needs to be ready before delivery day. PlainsCraft handles the build and ships direct to your property — site preparation and utility connections are the buyer’s responsibility. A level, properly prepared surface is required, and your property needs to be accessible for freight delivery.

Key requirements include a suitable foundation (concrete slab, compacted gravel pad, decking, or block system), standard utility connections, and a clear drive path for a semi-trailer with forklift access.

PlainsCraft arranges freight and ships your unit via flatbed. Buyer is responsible for unloading — a forklift is required on delivery day. Lead time for Shower House and Outhouse orders is typically 2-3 weeks from order date, though this may vary.

Freight cost is estimated at time of purchase. Final freight fees are confirmed at delivery. Post-delivery support documentation is included in the product box found inside the unit.

Yes. PlainsCraft Outhouse units are delivered turnkey and ready for placement. You will need to have a forklift available at delivery to unload the unit from the trailer and move it to its final location for utility hookup.

The Outhouse is designed with a 3" PVC sewer connection, allowing flexibility for connection to existing waste systems. Depending on your property setup, this may include city sewer, septic, waste tanks, honey wagons, or modular black tank systems.

Our Outhouse units are built with common code considerations in mind; however, local requirements can vary by location. We recommend checking with your local code inspector before installation. Yes. The Outhouse is semi-modular and comes standard with a custom steel base that includes built-in forklift slots. It can be moved after installation, provided the new location has the same or similar utility infrastructure available, including electric, water, and sewer connections.
