Buyer’s Responsibility: Site preparation, utility connections, and any required local permits are the responsibility of the buyer. PlainsCraft does not install wagons. Buyers are responsible for verifying all local code requirements before installation.

General Site Requirements

These requirements apply to all PlainsCraft wagon models. Electrical requirements vary by series — see the section below for per-series specifications.

Ground Preparation

Wagons do not require a concrete slab. A level, stable, and properly prepared surface is required. Suitable options include compacted gravel pads, decking, or block systems. Site preparation is the responsibility of the buyer.

Electrical Service

Electrical requirements vary by wagon series. Pioneer Elite, Prairie, and Mustang Wagons require 240V / 50 amp service. Pony Wagons require 120V / 30 amp service. See the per-series breakdown below.

Buyers are responsible for running electrical service to the installation location.

Minimum Clearance

24″ on all sides of the unit. Ensure adequate clearance for guest access, ventilation, and any maintenance requirements.

Delivery Access Requirements

  • Forklift or tow truck required on delivery day (Roll Back Tow Truck for all wagons, and 8000-10000lb Fork lift for ADA Low Trail Wagon with minimum of 8′ forks.)
  • Accessible drive path for a semi-trailer
  • 14′ clearance height along the delivery route

Permits

If permits are required in your jurisdiction, the buyer is responsible for obtaining them before delivery. PlainsCraft can provide product documentation to support permit applications if needed.

Grade / Slope Requirements

Site must be reasonably level. Specific grade tolerance is being confirmed — contact us to discuss your site conditions before ordering.

Pioneer Elite Wagons Additional Utility Requirements

Pioneer Elite Wagons include an integrated en suite bathroom — full shower, toilet, vanity, and sink. This requires water and sewer connections at the installation site in addition to electrical. All other wagon series (Prairie, Mustang, Pony) require electrical service only.

  • Water Supply: Standard water thread hookup
  • Waste / Sewer: Ability to connect to a 3″ PVC sewer outlet
  • Plumbing note: Insulated plumbing is included in the wagon — connections are the buyer’s responsibility
