How it works

Delivery Details

PlainsCraft handles freight logistics from our Topeka, KS facility to your property. Unloading is the buyer’s responsibility — a forklift is required on delivery day. Review all details below before scheduling your delivery.

Shipping Method

Flatbed freight. Your unit ships on a flatbed truck from our Topeka, KS facility. Buyer is responsible for unloading on delivery day — a forklift is required.

Who Arranges Freight?

PlainsCraft arranges and coordinates all freight logistics. You will be notified of your delivery window in advance.

Freight Cost

A freight estimate is included at time of quote. Final freight fees are confirmed and provided at the time of delivery. Actual costs may vary based on your location.

Forklift / Crane Required?

Requirements vary based on your final installation space. The buyer is responsible for providing the forklift or crane on delivery day. PlainsCraft experts can help you develop a plan that works for your site — contact us before delivery day if you have questions.

Does PlainsCraft Install?

No. PlainsCraft delivers the unit to your property. Installation, placement, and all utility connections are the buyer’s responsibility.

Utility Connections

Water, sewer, electrical, and gas/propane connections must be completed by the buyer after delivery. See the Site Requirements page for connection specifications.

Delivery day

Before & After Delivery

Use these checklists to make sure your site is ready before delivery and your unit is properly set up after it arrives.

Before Delivery Day

    Foundation ready — level surface prepared and cured (concrete slab, gravel pad, decking, or block system)

  • 2

    Utilities stubbed out — water, sewer, and electrical connections run to the installation location and ready to connect

  • 3

    Permits obtained — any required local permits secured before delivery

  • 4

    Access path clear — semi-trailer drive path unobstructed, 14′ clearance height confirmed

  • 5

    Forklift arranged — forklift with 1,200 lb capacity on site and ready for delivery day

  • 6

    Installation plan confirmed — if your site requires a crane or special placement, contact PlainsCraft in advance to plan the approach

After Delivery

    Inspect unit — check for any transit damage before signing off on delivery

  • 2

    Position and level — use forklift or crane to place the unit on your prepared foundation

  • 3

    Connect water supply — standard water thread hookup to your water line

  • 4

    Connect waste / sewer — 3″ PVC sewer connection to your waste line

  • 5

    Connect electrical — per unit requirements (Shower House: 30A/120V; Outhouse: 50A/240V)

  • 6

    Review post-delivery support materials — documentation is included in the Product Box inside the unit

After delivery

PlainsCraft includes post-delivery support documentation with every unit. You’ll find everything you need inside the Product Box located within the unit itself when it arrives.
